Diego has been waiting for this month for quite some time. While Grandma and Grandpa were here for Easter, they celebrated his birthday. That just gave him a taste of his birthday which kept him excited. On his birthday, the first act as an adult was to get a tattoo with Jeo’s name and my name. Sadly, Jeo could not be there as he was working, but I was able to be there along with Jade and one of his oldest friends. We celebrated by taking him to dinner and gave him a little gift. It’s not everyday you turn into an adult. Happy 18th Birthday Diego!
We also received a visit from one of his California friends. The family came to visit one of the colleges here in Arizona. While they were here, we decided to meet up to say hi.
Diego’s senior prom was this month. He wasn’t sure if he was going to go. We are glad that he did. He had a great time with his friends.
In February I shared with you how Panda liked to chew on everything. Well, she found a snag in the carpet and thought it was fun to keep tugging on it. Between that and being house trained, it was time to take out the carpet. Although carpet is more enjoyable to play on, tile is best suited for us. We did some shopping around, got an awesome deal on tile that we really liked and had it installed. The best part of it is that it looks like wood. It’s perfect for the room. I think it may be time to take out and put tile in the bedrooms.
