Emilio has been waiting for this moment for most of his life. Emilio received his driver’s license. Working he saved his money towards a car. Jeo found a car that was in very good condition and in the price range that worked for Emilio. He loves the car! It’s an older car, however, the make and model, at the time the car was made, it had all the bells and whistles. Those items are found in many new model cars.
September is a great month for birthdays. In the June updated, we shared with you the start of the birthdays for this year. We celebrated Jeo’s mother’s 40th birthday as well. : ) While we were at the house, we were able to get some pictures of her with the grandkids minus Adelina who was not in town. Happy Birthday Adriana! Ruby, my sister-in-law is the next to blow out those 4-0 candles.
One of Jeo’s favorite bands came to Maricopa. When I heard about it, I had to get tickets. I had them for quite some time, but as most of you may know, I have a hard time keeping surprises for others a secret. I gave the exciting news to him at the beginning of September. I took him to see Ramon Ayala. There were other artists there as well. Ramon’s son is a musician as well and he joined his father on stage. Fito was another, but those were the only ones I can remember at this time. The weather was actually very nice. It wasn’t too hot. It was at night. We started off in our chairs and as the night progressed, we ended up in the “standing only” section getting a closer view as well as some dances. I don’t dance, but this was for Jeo so I did dance a little with him. It was awesome to watch these musicians play. I did not understand the words, but loved the music. I guess after 21 years of being married to Jeo, his type of music rubbed off on me. When I hear the songs in the truck, I think of the experience we had this month.
