April 2019

Happy 19th birthday Diego!  It is definitely hard to imagine that you are 19 years old.  It feels like yesterday that we found out we were going to have you and the feeling of excitement that came over me.  I could not wait to tell your father the exciting news.  Then making us wait the 9 full months to see you for you to then decide you were just going to ride it out a little longer.  Your grandmother was taking me to so many restaurants to help start labor.  It wasn’t until the doctor gave you a little push did you finally cave in and join us.  It was such an exciting experience.  I remember thinking that I was not going to have you on April 22nd.  I went into the hospital April 21 and that was the day I was going to have you.  Well, you decided you would wait until the last hour of the day to present yourself to us.  You arrived at 11:25pm.  The first thing the doctors told us was how much you looked like your dad.  You have grown to be a great man.  We are very proud of you.

Jade has been doing cheer and has been improving her skills.  She enjoys dancing.  We have been fortunate to attend most of her performances.  She loves every minute of it as well.

We tiled the rest of the house.  It is great.  There are no messes to stain the floor.  We purchased a slightly different color than the living room.  It works out very well with the rest of the tile and the house.

Happy Easter!  Jade had her biggest face painting event this month.  She face painted for about 6 hours and there was a line the entire time.  She was awesome!  I went to check on her to see if she needed a break or anything and she said she was doing fine.  The company who hired her was very impressed with her work.  People cannot believe it’s her doing the art as she is so young.  She has some great talent.  She is blessed with the drawing from her father and her grandfather.

The puppies received their first haircut.  Overall they did very well.  Peanut screamed bloody murder, but she did alright.  We got through it one dog at a time.  Now they are ready for the warmer weather.
