Happy New Year! Wow, it’s crazy how time flies. It’s a new year. Time to make more memories, spend time with family, get one year older, face obstacles that come our way and embrace all the blessings.
We started the year with Jeo’s family. We celebrated our nephew and niece’s birthday a few days early. To pass the time new year’s eve, we played games, watched tv and ate. Due to the business schedule, we had to leave shortly after the new year started, but was still a joy to spend time with them.
We had a few days break with the business and decided to take a mini-vacation. We drove to see the London Bridge. The drive was nice and the entire event was fun. The kids, all four of them, had a great time. They were interactive and having a great time. This made the trip much more enjoyable. The weather was cloudy, but did not hinder our fun.
Jade made Principal’s List for her grades. She works very hard, sometimes a little too hard, but all that work pays off. She sets her goals and achieves them. Good job Jade. Keep up the hard work.
The puppies continue to grow. They are transitioning from mom to dog food. They are doing great. The house has been crazy with the six of us and the six of them, but we would not trade it as it’s been crazy, but fun.
Some of you may not know, but the city is building an overpass to go over Amtrak. The train causes significant delays for those trying to get in and out of areas of the city. The overpass is coming along very nicely. We are excited as the overpass starts a couple lights down from our street.
Jade started cheer this year. She is so cute in her uniform. She practices at home to ensure her routine is perfect. She does a great job and is flawless. It’s great to see her smile and have a good time. She does very well keeping her grades up as well as attend cheer. She has also started to attend chess once a week. So, she’s at school, after school a couple days a week.
Diego has been getting in those hours at work as well as Emilio. Their time is helping with the business, school, and work. They still find time with their friends. They are doing a great job with everything and are pleased with the dedication they give all aspects of their life.
